Only the beginning....

Over the past couple of days, it seems like we've referred to everything as "the last..." before Cooper is here.

Bailey had her LAST haircut Monday.
I had my LAST doctor's appointment yesterday.
I also had my LAST haircut yesterday.
I gave Brad his LAST haircut yesterday.
We cleaned the house for the LAST time.
I did the LAST couple of loads of laundry today.
We had our LAST supper tonight.
We had our LAST full day of just the 2 of us.
We will go to bed tonight one LAST time without being parents.
Brad, Bailey, and I took our LAST picture together.

It's completely amazing to think that in 24 hours from now Cooper will be coming into the world. Tomorrow starts a brand new beginning of the next chapter of our lives. :)

Love your blog!!! You will make awesome parents. Just remember... it goes SOOOO fast! So take a picture EVERYDAY of that little boy of your and you will have those memories forever! I kept a book by my bed at night and wrote about what happened that day... I LOVE that book!

Parents... you and Brad will be the BEST. I am so excited to hear the stories and look at pictures. You two are beginning the most wonderful chapter in your book of life.

Been following your blog for a while now and I just wanted to say good luck today! I remember being SO nervous the day of my scheduled c-section but try to relax and really take in every second of it - this will be the best day of your life! Can't wait to see pictures of your beautiful baby boy!

IVF Timeline

1/15/10- IVF Cycle Day 1

1/17/10- Begin BCP

1/21/10- Begin Z-pack

1/31/10- Lupron daily: 10 units

2/6/10- Last day of BCP

2/11/10- Suppression check

2/12/10- Lupron decreased: 5 units daily

2/13/10- Begin Follistim (FSH): 225 units daily

2/16/10- Estradiol level check and ultrasound

2/19/10- Estradiol level check and ultrasound- decrease Follistim to 150 units daily

2/22/10- Estradiol level check and ultrasound- decrease Follistim to 75 units

2/23/10- Estradiol level check and ultrasound- HCG trigger shot

2/24/10- Estradiol level check

2/25/10- Egg Retrieval- 41 EGGS RETRIEVED--WOO HOO! 24 eggs were mature and underwent the ICSI procedure. Begin progesterone in oil injection.

2/26/10- 10 eggs fertilized

3/2/10- 1 embryo transferred

3/3/10- 2 embryos frozen

3/4/10- Progesterone level above 80

3/12/10- NEGATIVE pregnany test

4/1/10- Follow-up appointment

5/15/10- Frozen embryo transfer cycle started

5/17/10- Begin birth control pills and Z-pack

5/31/10- Begin Lupron injection- 10 units

6/10/10- Suppression Check and begin Estradiol Valerate injections

6/12/10- Estradiol Valerate injection every Tuesday and Saturday

6/21/10- Estradiol level check and ultrasound

6/24/10- Begin progesterone injection daily

6/29/10- Frozen Embryo Transfer (11:00)

7/9/10- Pregnancy Test- POSITIVE!!!!- Beta level = 153

7/12/10- Beta level = 478

7/14/10- Beta level- 1,278

7/23/10- 6 week ultrasound - One baby!!! Heartbeat=115, Measuring 3.4 mm :)

7/28/10- Emergency visit because of bleeding- Ultrasound- Heartbeat= 147, Measuring 8.4 mm (Bed rest starts)

8/3/10- Ultrasound- Heartbeat= ??, Measuring 13.4 mm, (Bed rest ends)

8/17/10- Ultrasound- Heartbeat= 170, Measuring 1 inch (Released from Nashville)

8/30/10- First appointment in Bowling Green- Heartbeat= 178

9/28/10- IT'S A BOY!!!!

3/10/11- Cooper Evans Waltrip born at 7:59 am (6 lbs. 15 oz., 20 in. long)
